Finding somewhere to stay during your travels can be difficult. You want the comfort of home at the end of a long day of travel and living in a hotel with other tourists just doesn’t give you that homely feeling. What we have found, and I’m sure anyone who has travelled will tell you the same, to truly travel you must immerse yourself into the culture. That is why we have found some local accommodation in Alexandria that might give you that homely feeling and still teach you a thing or two about what it means to live in an Egyptian household.

  • Description- In the heart of Alexandria and in front of one of the most charming shores in the world, high in the sky on the 13th floor is the apartment. From that height, you can see the King’s palace, the beaches and those tiny cars flowing on the road.   • “The Penthouse of Eslasm is amazing: very big and magnificent furniture, with a sense of grandeur hard to find on airbnb. The big windows are directly on the main street, 7th floor. You don’t have wi-fi, but in this case. who cares? Sidi Gaber station is just 5 minutes walking. The area, although not very central, is commercial but the buildings are antiques, the neighbourhood is nice and also elegant. Then Eslam: he is really kind, waited for me for the check in around 11 p.m. constantly in touch by sms, and stayed with me in the very morning to take train to Cairo: very nice person.” – Antonio (April, 2018)
